Marquis Industries Announces $10,000 Donation to the American Heart Association

CHATSWORTH, Ga., Feb. 07, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Marquis Industries, a subsidiary of Live Ventures Incorporated, a publicly traded diversified holding company (NASDAQ: LIVE), is pleased to announce a $10,000 donation to the American Heart Association. This is the tenth consecutive year of donations from Marquis Industries to the American Heart Association. As heart disease remains the leading cause of death in the U.S., these funds will help support lifesaving research and advocate for better health.

Some specific programs supported by these funds include:

  • Meritorious research at the forefront of heart disease and stroke prevention
  • Public education on heart disease and stroke
  • CPR kit placements and education 
  • Get within the guidelines standards/programming in local hospitals
